- ASUS launched 3G smartphone at Rs 5,299
Taiwanese tech major ASUS on Monday launched in India its ZenFone Go - ZC451TG -- a 3G-enabled duel sim smartphone with 4.5 inch display. The Rs 5,299 smartphone comes with a 5 MP primary camera with auto-focus, F2.0 aperture and a 0.3 MP front camera to deliver stunning images. The phone sports a 480 x 854 (FWVGA) resolution display for clear, bright and vivid colours. The device will be available in four colours - Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Rouge Pink and Flash Blue to suit every user's personality, the company said in a statement. "We are elated at the response through the year for our ZenFone range of smartphones and are sure that this budget smartphone will be appreciated by our users as well," said Peter Chang, regional head (South Asia), ASUS India. ZenFone Go is equipped with a powerful MediaTek Quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM that enables multi-tasking with lag-free performance. The phone comes with 100 GB of Google Drive storage which is free for two years. The device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1, comes with a memory of 8 GB and offers Micro SD card support of up to 64 GB in addition to a 5 GB lifetime ASUS web storage. To begin with, the smartphone can be purchased from e-commerce website Flipkart and ASUS exclusive stores from second week of January.
