Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath approved the setting up of an anti- land mafia task force to check rampant land grabbing in the state, fulfilling a key poll promise.
On Tuesday, fourth state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved the setting up of an anti- land mafia task force to check rampant land grabbing in the state, fulfilling a key poll promise. “The cabinet has approved the setting up of anti-land mafia task force in the state. It will identify land grabbers in two months and strict action will be initiated against them,” the state power minister Shrikant Sharma told media.
Cabinet also decided to discontinue fifteen state holidays on the birth anniversaries of great person, government will organize special events on martyrs' birth anniversary, and the government officials will remain at work.
Special session of the UP Assembly has been called from May 15, 2017. Besides this, it was decided that an auditorium of Culture Department will be constructed in Gorakhpur. Also, a policy for retailers was finalized in the fourth cabinet meeting.
