Delhi Police constable hangs self, no suicide note found | ||||||||

A 26-year-old Delhi Police constable on Thursday allegedly committed suicide at his residence in North Delhi's Burari area by hanging himself from a ceiling fan, police said. However, police have not recovered any suicide note from the spot.
The deceased Parikshit was posted in Central Delhi's PCR unit.
A senior police official said: "Parikshit dropped his wife for duty in the morning and probably retuned home after which he ended his life."
The matter came to light when his wife called him several times that went answered. Following which she informed the matter to her father who lives nearby. When he entered their house he saw Parikshit hanging from a fan.
The body has been sent for postmortem. Further investigation is on, police added.
