Body parts found in three areas of Delhi Last Updated : 01 Apr 2017 03:02:11 AM IST Body parts found in three areas of Delhi
Human body parts were found at three different locations in north Delhi on Friday, police said.
Police said a crushed head, hands and parts of legs of an unidentified man were found in a pillow cover by an autorickshaw driver at a red light on ring road near Wazirabad, a leg in a jute bag in Burari while a torso in another jute bag was found near Kashmiri Gate bus stand.
"Police have collected all the mutilated body parts and sent them for post-mortem examination to ascertain whether these body parts were of a single man," a senior police officer said.Prima facie, it appears that the man was murdered during the night and the assailant dismembered the body and kept different parts in a freezer as the blood in body had dried.
The parts were later thrown in different areas in Timarpur, Kashmere gate and Burari Chowk, the officer said.
Police are examining the CCTV footage and are inquiring with local residents to identify the body, he added.IANS For Latest Updates Please-
