Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will not attend the launch of major indirect tax reform measure - Goods and Services Tax (GST) - in Parliament's Central Hall on Friday night.
Insted of him, Bihar Power Minister Vijendra Yadav will attend the event.
Bihar legislature unanimously adopted the GST bill along with Bihar Taxation (Amendment) Bill on April 24 this year.
Where Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal-United (JD-U) has decided to attend the rollout of GST in Parliament, Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Trinamool Congress are boycotting the event.
