4 dead as 30 people fall into well in Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha district Last Updated : 16 Jul 2021 12:23:25 PM IST At least three people have died after about 30 villagers fell into a well during a rescue operation in Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha district on Thursday, the police said. Nineteen people have been rescued and rushed to a hospital.
The villagers reportedly fell into the well when they were trying to rescue a boy who had fallen in the well earlier. As per officials, the parapet wall around the well collapsed due to the weight of people who were trying to rescue the boy. The well is around 50 feet deep with a water level of about 20 feet, news agency PTI reported quoting locals.The incident took place at Ganj Basoda, about 50 kilometres from the district headquarters.IANS Vidisha, MP For Latest Updates Please-
