24 killed in two road accidents in Tamil Nadu Last Updated : 20 Feb 2020 10:29:06 AM IST Tamil Nadu Bus Accident Twenty four people were killed in two different road accidents in Tamil Nadu on Thursday.
According to police, 19 persons died in an accident when a container lorry from Coimbatore to Salem and a passenger bus from Bengaluru to Tiruvananthapuram collided in the early hours of Thursday.The accident happened near Avinashi in Tiruppur district in Tamil Nadu.About 25 passengers were also injured in the accident.Police and fire tenders rushed to the spot for rescue operations.In another road accident in Salem district in Tamil Nadu, five persons died when the van in which they were travelling and another bus collided.According to police several people were also injured in the accident.IANS Chennai For Latest Updates Please-
