Narendra Modi ' title='Prime Minister Narendra Modi '>Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Israel on Tuesday on a three day visit to strengthen relations between the two countries.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to reach Israel by 6:30 in the evening.
Modi is expected to further solidify defence ties with Israel.
During his visit, Modi will meet Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with whome he has met twice on the sidelines of UN events.
Netanyahu will receive Modi at the airport. He will also host a dinner for him.
According to the plan, Netanyahu will accompany Modi to most events including a community reception on July 5.Modi, who will stay at the historic King David hotel in Jerusalem, is likely to sign a number of agreements with Israel in relation to innovation, agriculture, development, science and technology and space.
