West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday extended greetings to women across the world on International Women's Day.
"Warm wishes to all the mothers and sisters of this world. Happy International Women's Day," Banerjee posted on her Twitter handle.
Lauding women as 'our pride', Banerjee wished they ascend to the highest positions in society and lead the way for the rest of the world.
"The mothers and sisters are the pride of our society. May the women ascend to the highest positions throughout the world and lead the way for all of us," she added.
