But now it seems that Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli has emerged as the best contender to bat at these positions. Chjeteshwar Pujara, who unfortunately got run out after getting good start in first innings, smashed his career’s sixth Test century in the second innings of Wanderers Test in Day-3. Pujara’s so far record at No-3 position in Test cricket proves his ability to fill the space, which get vacant after Dravid’s retirement. Virat Kohli started off weel to fill the gap for No-4, where Sachin Tendulkar batted for around two decades. Batting at No-4 for the first time after Tendulkar’s retirement in November 2013, Kohli scored hundred in 1st innings and is batting unbeaten for 77 in second innings.
