Cold wave, snow in Kashmir

Snowfall brings down temperature in Kashmir Valley

Pahalgam resort, which serves as base camp during annual Amarnath yatra, recorded a low of minus 12.4 degrees Celsius, a drop of over eight degrees from minus 4.2 degrees Celsius on Saturday, Feb 15. Night temperature in the famous ski-resort of Gulmarg dipped to record a low of minus 10.3 degrees Celsius.
