Snow festival in Kashmir valley

For the first time Pahalgam saw an event like this during winters. Aru, 16 kilometres from Pahalgam, is seen as a virgin area for adventure sports like snow skiing and snow boarding. Heli skiiers have already explored this area as helicopters hovering over the mountains of Pirpanjal range ferrying foreigners from Pahalgam to Mahadev from where they ski down to Sonamarg.
