Pleasures, pains of living together

So, you guys are good friends and possibly in a romantic relationship. You aren't married but live in the same house. That is perfectly fine, and in fact as many couples in live-in relationships argue, very important when working individuals hardly have any time for each other. Living in the same house allows them to spend quality time which is very difficult otherwise. Once you guys have moved into the same house, there are some basic rules one must follow till people grow really intimate, which means understanding each other in every possible way.
