Work as much as the juniors do: Some bosses believe that not having a hands-on approach is the right thing to do. That is a disaster. As a boss, not only should you supervise and guide your juniors but you must spend as much time doing actual, ‘visible’ work as the other members of your team do. As long as you are not at the top who has to deal with many bosses at your level, nothing can justify why you do not share the workload of your juniors.
