PICS: Auto sales up despite Re fall

HYUNDAI: Hyundai Motor India Ltd reported a 11.58 per cent increase in its total sales in August at 52,319 units as against 46,886 in the same month last year. The company's domestic sales stood at 28,311 units during the month, marginally up from 28,257 units in August 2012, HMIL said in a statement. Exports during the month rose by 28.87 per cent to 24,008 units from 18,629 units in the same month last year, it added.
