Cvent to skill underserved youth for IT jobs | ||||||||

US-based software-as-a-service provider Cvent on Wednesday announced that it would impart skills to underserved youth, including women for jobs in the Indian IT industry. "We will provide job-related skills in voice and non-voice Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to underserved youth ' title=' underserved youth '>underserved youth and women for job opportunities in the IT and IT-enabled sector," said Cvent India in a statement here. The technology major has tied up with Nasscom Foundation, the social arm of the IT industry's apex body, to launch the Cvent India Employability Enhancement Programme for training the youth, 40 per cent of whom will be women.
"Along with Nasscom Foundation, we will ensure at least 50 per cent of the trained youth get jobs through placement drives and job fairs," said Aggarawal. | ||||||||
